Immersive Seating Open Rehearsal - Exclusive Club Event

Welcome to the first Curious Listeners Club event of the 2026-2027 season!

What if, instead of sitting in the audience, you could sit inside the orchestra or choir?

For the very first Curious Listeners Club event of the season, we’re opening the doors to an experience most concertgoers never get to see: an immersive-seating open rehearsal alongside more than 90 musicians between Stratus Chamber Orchestra and St Martin's Festival Choir. This rehearsal is in preparation for the Mozart Reimagined concerts taking place on September 18th and 19th.

You’ll sit among the musicians as they rehearse. You’ll watch the conductor shape the music in real time. You’ll see the camaraderie, concentration, and extraordinary musical skill that go into creating a performance. And you’ll have the chance to meet and get to know some of the musicians themselves as you sit shoulder to shoulder.

Wander in, settle among the choir and orchestra musicians, watch the process unfold around you, and experience what happens before the audience ever takes its seats.

We hope to see you there!

Tuesday, September 15th, 7PM

Augustana Lutheran Church 5000 E. Alameda Ave, Denver 80246

What is immersive seating?

Immersive seating gets you amongst the musicians. Audience chairs will be placed interspersed between orchestra members and choir sections. You’ll be surrounded on all sides by musicians, facing the conductor, getting the exact same experience that an orchestra musician receives in a rehearsal. It’s a unique way to experience the process of creating music that most audience members don’t get to see.
