Sharing the spirit of music

FREE PERFORMANCES

Augustana Arts offers free outreach performances at prisons, nursing homes, hospitals, and hospice centers which delight the spirit by offering joy, hope, and comfort to those who would not otherwise be able to attend performances.

To schedule a performance in collaboration with Augustana Arts or Stratus Chamber Orchestra, please contact Augustana Arts’ Executive Director, Sara Hare, at Sara@AugustanaArts.org.

FlexPay Tickets

Augustana Arts offers Flex Pay (Pay-What-You-Choose) tickets for most events. This ticketng format exists to ensure people of all ages who struggle with physical, mental, behavioral, or severe economic challenges have an opportunity to experience arts and culture. Every year this ticketing option ensure that individuals and families in our community have the opportunity to experience the Arts.

Music Encounters

In 2002 Augustana Arts established the Music Encounters program which offers violin, viola, and cello lessons to children from low-income families in the Denver metropolitan area. The program exposes ’at-risk’ children to music, but it also helps them to attain other educational goals by teaching self-discipline and developing self-confidence.
