Meet the Bands
Since its inception in 2015, the musicians of Guerrilla Fanfare have been dedicated to bringing the highest quality brass band music to life throughout Colorado and beyond. From fiery pop arrangements, to traditional jazz, to innovative original music, the mission of the band is to appeal to the audience and deliver a meaningful and positive performance that invigorates, excites and delights! Guerrilla Fanfare aims to bring levity and fun to any situation, and also to bring something for everyone to every performance. GuFa has engaged in some out of the box, and unexpected events over the years. As suggested by the name, this band has played events from parties deep in the mountains, to surprise pop up events at the airport, to assemblies for an entire school, to parade marches downtown - and everything in between. Recently, Guerrilla Fanfare performed in the Five Points Jazz Festival, as headliner to a City Park Jazz evening, as a featured artist with the CU “Golden Buffalo” Marching Band for halftime at Folsom Field, and many others.

Gora Gora Orkestar brings the sounds of the Old World to the Rocky Mountains performing high-energy Balkan and Klezmer music. Formed in 2009, this 11-piece brass band is dedicated to making the audience dance with driving rhythms and innovative approaches to the traditional music of Eastern Europe. Since its formation, Gora Gora has focused on learning this music with attention and authenticity, and its members have had the chance to learn from experts in the field.
Gora Gora Orkestar has had the opportunity to perform across the country, including festivals in Boston, Austin, and Seattle, and recently at a sold-out show at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado. Gora Gora strives to foster building a klezmer and balkan musical community in Denver, hosting a monthly dance and music collaboration called Festo Festo.
Out of Line Brass Band emerged from its boogie-cocoon in 2023, grabbing members from a few area brass bands to come together and put their particular spin on NOLA brass band sound. With hard hitting EDM and Pop covers, and open dance jams to fill the song breaks, OOL shows are a distinct flavor in Denver’s talented brass band scene.
They really have only one goal for you when you attend their shows: Dance like no one is watching! Out of Line Brass Band has been honored to perform all over the front range, from Vail’s Mardi Gras celebration to the 5 Points Brass Festival; Little Man Ice Cream Summer Series to Edgewater’s Pride! Members of OOL also perform with a variety of the area's top acts, like Graham Goode and the Painters, Hunter James and the Titanic, The Function, the Stratus Chamber Orchestra, the Colorado Symphony, Denver Brass, just to name a few! This diverse performance experience really comes out in Out of Line’s stage show, an equal mix of top-notch performance and a certain brass-band-loose quality and ease.
